Grizzl-E Smart EV Charger Review
Available in 3 different colors. The unit tested in the video was ‘avalanche’ white edition, while the two other color options are black and ‘extreme’ edition which is a camouflage style green. These are not different hardware models, just different colors/skins.
The charger comes with a 24-foot charging cable and a heavy-duty IP67 metal enclosure to withstand any indoor or outdoor condition. It’s manufactured in Canada.
NEMA Plug-in Options
The Grizzl-E unit is available in either NEMA 6-50 or NEMA 14-50 plug-in configurations. United Chargers does not sell it directly as a hardwired unit, a professional electrician is needed to install if you wish to permanently hardwire the charger.

How does the new Grizzl-E unit compare to the older model?
- The newer unit features an upgraded, more ergonomic connector.
- The cable on the newer unit is thinner (16 mm) compared to the older unit (21 mm). Thinner cables are easier to bend and handle, especially when frozen.
- The newer cable is also longer (24 inches) compared to the older unit (19 inches). This is helpful since you get more flexibility and length when mounting at your home.
