Fleet and Business Credits

For EV fleet owners, the Clean Fuels Incentive Program provides car grants from $5,000 to $150,000 per unit. Local government operators also receive up to $7,500 from the Maryland Smart Energy Communities (MSEC).

Businesses, non-profit organizations, workplaces, other commercial businesses, and multifamily communities can benefit from the Maryland Energy Administration (MEA) rebate of 40% of the costs for EV charger installation, up to $4,000.

Lastly, all EV owners are exempted from the Maryland State’s emissions inspections.
