Qmerit Purchases Willow Glen Electric

Qmerit, the leading provider of residential and light commercial EV charging station installations in North America, today announced it has purchased Willow Glen Electric Inc., one of Silicon Valley’s most trusted electrical contractors. Willow Glen Electrical’s established market presence, deep residential experience, and EV installation and technology focus gives Qmerit immediate credibility and self-perform electrification capabilities in one of the U.S.’s most innovative and fast-growing EV markets. San Jose, CA-based Willow Glen Electric is family founded and run, and has been serving the greater San Jose Area for more than 30 years. The company specializes in providing quality electrical services to homeowners, small businesses, tech startups, and light-commercial clients with a specialty niche for EV charging. In 2013, they expanded into EV installation and technology with the launch of its EVXperts division. EVXperts has become one of California’s leading EV charger installation teams, having completed more than 4,000 EV charging station installations to date. “With its high tech orientated population and high demand for EV in-home charging, Silicon Valley is a key strategic market for Qmerit.
