Peterbilt has unveiled the all-new Model 567EV and an upgraded Model 579EV, both equipped with PACCAR’s next-generation ePowertrain. These Class 8 electric trucks are purpose-built to help fleets meet sustainability goals while maintaining operational performance similar to their diesel counterparts.
The 567EV is tailored for vocational use—including dump, utility, and equipment hauler applications—offering up to 250 miles of range and multiple ePTO configurations. The next-gen 579EV is designed for regional haul and drayage, with up to 200 miles of range and a refined driver experience that includes advanced safety systems and SmartDisplay technology.
Both trucks feature customizable power ratings up to 605 hp and 1,850 lb.-ft. of torque, lithium iron phosphate battery chemistry, regenerative braking, and SmartLINQ diagnostics. With battery options from 250 kWh to 625 kWh and DC fast charging support up to 350 kW, these vehicles are built for both flexibility and performance.
Peterbilt’s dealer network, in collaboration with Qmerit and Schneider Electric, offers comprehensive support for EV charging infrastructure planning and deployment, helping fleets prepare for the future of zero-emission transport.
