High West Energy EV Charger Rebates

Businesses can claim a rebate of up to $1,000 or half of the cost of a Level 2 charging project. High West Energy will give you $3,000 to $7,500 if you’re planning for a DC fast charging station, depending on the charger’s capacity.

Niobrara Rural Electric Association EV Charger Rebates

If you’re a Niobrara Rural Electric Association residential customer, you can get a $250 rebate toward a non-connected Level 2 charger or $1,000 for a connected model. Keep in mind that the cap is 50% of the total EV charger installation cost, split between the charger and the installation cost.

Up to $1,000 can be rebated for business customers, with a cap at half the cost of a Level 2 charger. The utility offers incentives of $3,000 to $7,500 for DC fast chargers based on charging capacity.

Wyrulec Company EV Charger Rebates

Wyrulec will cover $250 for a non-connected Level 2 charger and up to $1,000 for a connected model. The total amount of the rebate can’t exceed half of the total cost, evenly split between the charger itself and the installation cost.

The Wyrulec Company offers a similar program for businesses, with rebates of $1,000 or less for Level 2 chargers. You can also get help for DC Fast charging projects, with rebates that go from $3,000 to $7,500.

Does Wyoming Have EV Charger Tax Credits?

No, as of mid 2026, Wyoming does not have a state-wide tax credit for EV chargers, and two federal programs, the Alternative Fuel Vehicle Refueling Property Credit and the 30C commercial charging tax credit, both expired on June 30, 2026.

During these months, you’ll pay the on-peak rate of $0.15 per kWh from 5:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. and again from 4:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. Outside of these hours, you’ll benefit from the off-peak rate of $0.05 per kWh.

Powder River Energy Corporation

The Powder River Energy Corporation offers two optional time-based rates. The first one is a time-of-use plan with a seasonal schedule. From June through September, you’ll pay $0.06 per kWh between 9 p.m. and 10 a.m. and $0.11 during the day. Between October and May, you’ll get this off-peak rate from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and again from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.

The second plan is a time-of-day rate, with an on-peak rate of $0.10 per kWh and off-peak pricing of $0.06 per kWh in effect between September and May. From June through August, you’ll pay a flat rate of $0.09 per kWh around the clock. You’ll have to contact the utility for a more detailed schedule.
