A Qmerit Installation Voucher can be purchased through Bowen Scarff Ford. You may qualify to finance the cost of your Qmerit Installation Voucher with your vehicle. A Qmerit installation voucher may either be purchased in the amount of $1000 or for the amount of a confirmed quote. Charging your EV at home is often cheaper, more reliable, and more convenient than public charging. The cost of installing home charging, however, requires an upfront investment (see “How much does installation cost?”)
By purchasing a Qmerit Installation voucher, customers have the opportunity to reduce their upfront cost and simplify the EV purchase process by bundling the cost of a Qmerit Installation Voucher into a vehicle loan.
Qmerit is a home installation provider that provides customers with access to a nationwide network of pre-qualified, licensed electricians who specialize in EV charging installations. Every electrician within the Qmerit network has undergone a rigorous certification process which includes training, license verification, background checks, and more.
The installation price will vary depending on your project requirements, but typically ranges from $799 – $1,999. Factors impacting the cost include the length of wiring needed, installation method (hardwire or outlet installation), and location of the installation site in relation to your main electrical panel.

Our certified installers are top-rated electricians who are licensed, insured and background-checked, sparing you the hassle of researching and vetting contractors yourself. You may be able to find someone to do a cheaper installation, but you could be sacrificing quality or putting yourself at risk if electrical codes are not followed or required inspections are not performed.
To receive a confirmed quote, follow these steps:
On average, a quote is confirmed within 7 days after you submit the Home Charging Assessment. Quote time varies, however, and is dependent upon your availability to answer installer questions or host a site assessment, the level of complexity involved with your scope of work, and installer availability.
If you don’t receive a confirmed quote in advance of purchasing your vehicle, you’re still eligible to purchase a Qmerit Installation Voucher in the amount of $1000 that can be applied toward your total installation cost with Qmerit.
Customers are eligible to receive a refund on a Qmerit Installation Voucher up until the point where installation is completed. To request a cancellation, send an email to FordEVAdvisor@qmerit.com that includes your name, quote ID, and certified installer information.
In the event that the amount of your Qmerit Installation Voucher exceeds the amount of your home charging installation, you may contact your dealer for a refund. If you finance the Qmerit Installation Voucher, any refund for the amount of the voucher in excess of the home charging installation cost will be applied to the amount owed on your installment sales contract in accordance with the terms of the installment sales contract. The refund will not result in a reduction of the payment of the installment sales contract.
A Qmerit Installation Voucher cannot exceed $3000 in value.
