When filing your federal taxes, you can claim the New Clean Vehicle Tax Credit if you meet a few conditions.
This tax incentive is a nonrefundable credit of up to $7,500 that will reduce your tax liability provided that you bought a qualifying EV and meet some income requirements.
You can also claim a federal tax credit to help pay for a residential EV charger if you live in a non-urban or low-income area.
Businesses can also claim these credits to reduce their tax bill after investing in electric fleet vehicles and charging solutions.

There are no utilities offering EV charger rebates in West Virginia. You can still save by shopping around for an affordable Level 2 home charger. Investing in at-home charging will also help you save compared to public EV charging.
