Tom Bowen

Tom Bowen has a unique business development and general management background which is perfectly suited to his new role. At Schneider Electric, his responsibilities include supporting current clients’ needs and the company’s growth aspirations—in particular, expanding its delivery capabilities for the multi-family, utility and small to mid-market commercial segments.

Tom joined Qmerit in 2021, bringing tremendous expertise in commercial energy efficiency and renewable energy alternatives, as well as proven experience in leading organizations both regionally and nationally.

Prior to Qmerit, Tom served as CEO of private equity-backed North American Roofing, LLC, where he was responsible for the company’s overall sales, operations, strategic growth, and financial performance. He led initiatives focused on operational excellence, organizational alignment, and scalable growth while managing a national commercial platform serving customers across multiple markets.

Throughout his career, Tom has established himself as a recognized leader in the energy services industry, bringing more than two decades of experience driving growth, innovation, and operational performance across energy efficiency, renewable energy, distributed energy resources, and infrastructure solutions.

His leadership roles with Fortune 50 and Fortune 500 organizations, including Honeywell International, Sempra Energy, and Chevron, provided deep expertise in P&L management, sales leadership, operations, mergers and acquisitions, and the delivery of complex energy and sustainability solutions for commercial, industrial, utility, and institutional clients.

Tom has successfully built and led high-performing teams, developed strategic partnerships, and helped organizations reduce energy costs, improve operational efficiency, and capitalize on opportunities created by the evolving energy transition.
